Hyder Amil landed all of the punches Saturday at UFC APEX.
In a stunning display of offense (and questionable defense), Amil scored a ferocious first-round knockout of Jeong Yeong Lee after connecting with a seemingly endless combination of unanswered punches.

Right from the start, Amil and Lee were determined to slug it out, and it was actually Lee who landed a hard punch first that had Amil visibly rocked. Amil was undeterred and rather than take a moment to compose himself, he threw back with vigor until it was Lee who was forced to retreat.
Amil pressed his advantage, connecting with winging punches over and over and over again. Somehow, Lee stayed on his feet. Referee Mark Smith watched the action closely as Amil continued to tee off with Lee backed up against the fence. Though Lee still refused to drop, he also wasn’t showing any sign of intelligent defense, so Smith was forced to stop the fight just 65 seconds into the opening round.
With the win, Amil improves to 2-0 in the UFC and keeps his perfect pro record intact at 10-0. His first UFC win also came by standing TKO, a second-round finish of Fernie Garcia this past February.
Lee (11-2) falls to 1-1 in the UFC and sees an eight-fight win streak snapped.
