Paddy Pimblett and King Green, the fighter formerly known as Bobby Green, are finally set to throw down at UFC 304 after months of trash talk. This lightweight bout scheduled for three rounds is taking place Saturday, July 27 at Co-op Live in Manchester, England.
Pimblett, 29, looks to continue his ascent as a UFC star. A former Cage Warriors champion, Pimblett (21-3 MMA, 5-0 UFC) has won his first five UFC bouts to much fanfare, which is sure to continue in his home country.
Green, 37, is not only another big name standing in Pimblett’s way after he most recently defeated Tony Ferguson, but he’s a formidable challenge with his high-pressure style of fighting. The veteran Green (32-15-1 MMA, 13-10-1 UFC) has won three of his past four bouts and is coming off a brutal victorious performance against Jim Miller.
