Umar Nurmagomedov got a chance to prove his worth against top-ranked contender Cory Sandhagen, and he did just that with a UFC on ABC 7 main event win.

Nurmagomedov (18-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) put a signature name on his resume Saturday at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, when he defeated Sandhagen (17-5 MMA, 10-4 UFC) by unanimous decision to leave no question he’s one of the best in the weight class.
