Alistair Overeem is a true pioneer of mixed martial arts, but one fight he is finding trouble winning is one with his own daughter.

‘The Demolition Man’ hasn’t competed under the UFC banner for over three years. At his heights, the kickboxing ace has held gold in several companies and has shared the cage with some of the very best to ever do it.

Now, Alistair Overeem is having problems with his family life. According to the former UFC star, his daughter is unsure on her gender identity and he’s blaming the woke ideology for brainwashing her.

“I have three girls. There’s a problem with the oldest, though,” Overeem said during an appearance on the Jaxxon Podcast. “She thinks that she’s my son.”

“She’s all into this woke nonsense… She’s addicted to her phone. She’s being brainwashed [for] six, seven hours a day. How you feel you are, you can be what you want to be.”

Overeem later explained that he has been learning about his daughter’s gender transition, though he will never accept her as a son.

“[I deal with it by showing] patience, compassion, learning in that department, right? But I am not going to call her a ‘he’.”

“I’m a fighter, I will always fight, I’m not going to go into this. I just don’t believe that. I can respect that, I can do anything, but I’m not gonna, yeah.”

“I should not let go. If you let go, [it’s a] loss, right? You need her as close as possible. Maybe that’s the problem in the first place.”

“Because I’m in the States and fighting, I’m doing my thing. She’s in the Netherlands, here’s the phone, here’s the tablet.”

“Because I remember, she was four. I looked at her and she was too much on the tablet. I told her mother that she’s too much on the tablet and we need to do something about that… Now, this is the result.”
