Paddy Pimblett is known for not taking his diet too seriously outside of competition, and this time is no different.
The Liverpool native often bulks up between fights and fans are openly worried about the health risks it may present in the long run. Despite the continous fears, the scouser is taking an ‘if it’s not broken, don’t fix it’ approach to things.
Silencing the doubters, Paddy Pimblett managed to put on an all-timer performance where he choked Bobby Green to sleep at UFC 304. In spite of his new #15 ranking next to his name, Pimblett is still over-indulging in food in-between fights.
Just one week after the biggest win of his UFC career, the natural 155er can now almost compete alongside light heavyweight kingpin Alex Pereira.
Pimblett piled on an enormous amount of weight during a family holiday to Tenerife post UFC 304. The global star weighed close to 200 lbs after returning from Spain, gaining over 40 lbs in just one week — and completely transforming his facial structure in the process.
“Back from [Tenerife],” Pimblett said in a recently released vlog uploaded to his YouTube channel. “Probably start getting called a fat c*** by everyone.”
“I didn’t do too bad. Didn’t do great, though, at the same time. Still a bit chubby.”

“I’m not as fat as I have been but I’m still a bit chubby. We were eating all sorts, lad. Chinese’s, Thai’s, steaks, burgers, and sh*t.”
After the holiday, Pimblett was wasting no time in shredding off the extra pounds. The Brit went straight back to NextGen to put in the work for his next UFC outing.
“I’m still looking forward to some scans here. But, I just need to train. That’s the main thing, lad.”
“Obviously, eating copious amounts of food doesn’t help with your weight, but when I don’t train, I put weight on.”
