MANCHESTER, England – Sam Patterson was quickly able to establish dominance on the ground before submitting Kiefer Crosbie.
Patterson (12-2-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) scored his second straight first-round submission when he cinched in an arm-triangle choke on Crosbie (10-5 MMA, 0-2 UFC) at the 2:50 mark of Round 1 Saturday at Co-op Live. Patterson caught Crosbie coming in with an uppercut before taking him down to the mat and submitting him.

After losing his UFC debut, Patterson rebounded with back-to-back finishes. The 28-year-old Brit has now won 11 of his past 12. Meanwhile, Crosbie dropped to 0-2 in the UFC.
