Ruben Warr capped off the latest BKFC event in spectacular fashion with a stunning six-second knockout over UFC veteran Robbie Peralta.
The fight was over almost as quickly as it started as referee Dan Miragliotta brought the fighters to the center of the ring to “knuckle up” and then the action began. Warr immediately uncorked a punch that blasted Peralta and he fell stiff to the canvas with Miragliotta quickly waving off the fight.
While the official time ended up as six seconds because fighters typically get a 10 count in BKFC in similar fashion as boxing, this was really all a formality after Warr flattened Peralta with his first punch.
The rapid-fire knockout goes down as one of the quickest finishes in BKFC history.
“You can run but you can’t hide,” Warr said about his future in BKFC after the shocking finish. “Line ‘em up, baby. I don’t care about the opponent. I sign my contract without looking at it. I don’t care. Let’s go.”
The win moved Warr to 2-1 in his BKFC career while Peralta fell to 3-2 with the loss.
